Disposable bite block with strap is used to stabilize the mouth and provide supplemental oxygenation during gastrointestinal endoscopy. It helps provide a safe passage through the patient’s mouth while helping protect the teeth as well as valuable endoscope equipment during the procedure.
The supportive, rigid design helps avert a collapse of the airway and reduces hypoxia risk in sedated patients. The unique molding process creates a smooth finish to help prevent sharp edges, while strict quality control procedures and careful selection of raw materials help assure our bite blocks are manufactured without natural rubber latex.
